Overview
With the aggressive design of the 2005-09 Mustang, it's always great to add a touch of performance style that looks like it naturally belongs with the car. The Mustang Ducktail Spoiler does an excellent job of complimenting the Mustang's existing body lines and hugging the curves of the trunk for the perfect fit. Instead of allowing the rear end of your vehicle to simply taper off after the roofline merges with the trunk, add some definition and style with this component.
Colors listed are the only options we have left, as we do not have a paint booth.
- This blow molded ABS spoiler is a three piece design, which is lightweight and requires no trunk strut adjustments. Available standard unpainted or in some factory colors and with or without pony emblem (an indention has been added to the spoilers with pony emblem to provide a flush appearance.) The Ducktail Spoiler hard mounts to the vehicle via Acrylic Bonding Tape and Bolts to increase durability.

- To simplify the installation process, order your new Mustang with the Spoiler DELETE option or if your Mustang already has the factory spoiler you can order CDC’s Nifty Hole Filler Kit to complete the look. This kit eliminates the need to repaint the trunk while giving additional appeal to the Ducktail Spoiler.

- CDC also designed the Ducktail Spoiler without the CHMSL to meet their true vintage design goals. We also understand that some customers wish to have a 3rd brake light that does not intrude on the design efforts of the spoiler and now offer the optional LED 3rd Brake Light. Looks great,my first car was 1969 Mustang GT green, a year later then the Steve Mcqueen 68 bullitt car.Loved my 69 now I can say I love my 2006 with the duck spoiler just as much. Cover's rear stop light but who gives a s*** that's the only law I break. Also the spoiler covers the holes from stock wing they sell on most 06's(tried to find a deleted model no luck).Again this spoiler is great with lines on car. Nice job CDC keep it up.Guess I'll buy the light bar some day with windscreen.(replaces the light you cover with spoiler)

I have been extremely pleased with the product since 06, until today 06/23/09 I was on my way to lunch and before getting in the car, I noticed the spoiler is warping. Im guessing from exposed to the sun and hot summer days. Its so warped infact it appears the mounting hex screws are going to pull thru the spoilers mounting holes. I am going to remove and inspect the situation. Maybe I can get away with just adding new 3M tape and reinstall. Hoping this will help. There is now a 1/4" gap between the trunk and spoiler where there should only be about 1/16 to 0 gap. Has anyone had this issue.

Very nice piece, disappointed that I have to order unpainted since there is no option for 2009 VAPOR metalic.

I did the same thing as Dean did, I picked my GT up with the spoiler delete from the factory because I knew this was the spoiler I ultimately wanted. I ordered it pre-painted. Paint matched perfectly! Install wasn't bad either with the provided template. People are amazed that its an aftermarket spoiler because how perfect it fits with the car.

I ordered my 08 GT w/ the spoiler delete option specifically for this CDC spoiler and let me tell you--I highly recommend it. The spoiler gives my Mustang that classic, cool, subdued type muscle car feel. It took longer than expected to install, and once its on-its on for good. But it is all good. Thank you CDC!
